Outdoor Service & Patriotic Meal
For the past few years, on the Sunday before July 4 (this year: June 28), we've done two things:
Outdoor Service - As a reminder of God's faithfulness throughout the summer of 2020, we gather outdoors like we did during that time.
Patriotic Meal - We'll take time during that outdoor service, we'll take some to thank God for our country and to pray for its future, but our celebration of America happens during the meal that happens after.
The deaconesses serve us well, but the whole church family contributes to making that meal a success. Like last year, the church will provide fried chicken (America, right?), rolls, and drinks. We'll ask everyone else to bring sides (last names beginning A-M) and desserts (last names beginning N-Z). In order to make the chicken part possible, we do ask you to pay a small ticket price for each person who comes: $2/person with a $10 max per family. You can start signing up here.
