College Students at Beth Eden

With all the new things that come along with going away to college, finding a place to go to church shouldn’t be hard.

Beth Eden Baptist Church is conveniently located for many of the Denver-area campuses (Colorado Christian University, Colorado School of Mines, Red Rocks Community College, University of Colorado - Denver). We’d love for you to find a church home during your college years with us.

If you’d like to find a place to gather…

Sunday Morning Worship Service - 9:30 AM every week

People standing in a line in an indoor setting, some holding songbooks or papers, with a plain wall background.

Our weekly worship service centers around the Bible - we sing, pray, and read the Bible together, and listen as someone preaches the Bible. You’ll also see the Bible in action as believers give, fellowship, and participate in worship.

Inside a church or auditorium filled with seated people attending a service or presentation. A speaker stands at a podium on stage, gesturing with one arm. Behind him are musical instruments and chairs. The walls display Christian-themed artwork and text, including a large cross and a screen with song lyrics.

Our music is largely congregational in nature, and we use music from a wide span of history and writers.

Our congregation features members from all age groups, from kids and young families to professionals and retirees. We are familial, warm, and reverent in our worship.

A group of elderly women sitting around a conference table in a meeting room, engaging in discussion or listening attentively.

Fellowship and Sunday School - 11:00 AM every week

Two men in conversation at a social event. The man on the left has a beard and is wearing a light-colored suit, while the man on the right is older with white hair, glasses, and is dressed in a blue blazer. They are holding disposable cups and a plate with food. The background shows other people and pink triangular banners hanging from the ceiling.
Two women with short gray hair and glasses are talking outside a brick building, one holding a plate with a donut, and the other holding a folder and a tablet. In the background, two other women are engaged in conversation near a table.

Each week, we dismiss our main gathering to fellowship over coffee and donuts and then gather in smaller groups to pray for each other, discuss God’s Word together, and encourage each other in what the next week will hold.

A group of elderly people gathered around, focusing on a shared activity, with a wall and ceiling light in the background.

Church Family Prayer meetings include a Bible challenge focused on prayer and significant time in prayer for our evangelism and discipleship efforts.

Sunday Evening Church Family Prayer Meetings -
6:00 PM every other week

These meetings are very casual, like gathering with a family in their living room. They are some of the most refreshing times of the week for our members. All ages, from kids to adults, gather together on these evenings.

People sitting closely together in a room, some with heads bowed, possibly praying or resting, with soft lighting from a wall-mounted light fixture.

Wednesday Evening Ministries - 6:30 PM every week

On Wednesday nights, we focus on equipping our people.

A classroom with a man giving a presentation, hanging globe decorations from the ceiling, and students seated at desks.

We do this with our kids by encouraging Bible memory and knowledge through AWANA.

A man standing at a podium in front of a small congregation, giving a presentation about explaining God's word, specifically Isaiah 25-27, titled 'Unleash the Lion.' The room has a large screen, decorated walls, and the audience appears attentive.

Our teens meet for Youth Group during this time, where dedicated leaders disciple and teach them about how God’s Word speaks to how they live their lives in today’s world.

A man with glasses, wearing a navy blue shirt, is sitting at a desk with an open book, a tablet, and a large drink cup in front of him. He is smiling and looking down. Behind him is a whiteboard with musical staff lines and a poster that says "Today's Activity" on the wall.

Adults not helping in AWANA or Youth Group have the option to take classes taught by our leaders which are designed to help believers live out the life that God has called them to in Christ.

If you’d like to find a place to serve…

We have three expectations for those who would like to serve at Beth Eden.

1. We’ll ask you to come to church twice a week. This will give you a better sense of who we are and allow you to feel comfortable serving alongside our church members; you’ll feel more a part of the team!

2. We’ll pair you up with a Connection Family. This gives you a real person (or people) to answer questions, who can care for your immediate needs and know you more deeply while you serve.

3. We’ll have you undergo our sexual abuse prevention training. Many of the opportunities to serve at Beth Eden involve working with children. Children are some of the most vulnerable in today’s society, and we take seriously our responsibility to keep them safe and protected.

Once you’ve met these expectations, we can get you plugged into a place to serve!
