Dr. James Efaw Senior Pastor

“Pastor Jim” has served as senior pastor of the Beth Eden Baptist Church since 1991. He graduated from Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC, with a B.A. in Bible in 1963 during which time he was president of the student body. He completed his master's degree in Bible in 1965 while serving as a graduate assistant teaching Greek. In 1984 he was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity from his alma mater.

For 22 years, Pastor Jim served as senior pastor of the Cross Lanes Bible Church in Charleston, WV. While there, he was instrumental in founding the Cross Lanes Christian School, which currently has 450 students and it's own 40 acre campus.

Pastor Efaw's wife, Susan, is a licensed and certified biblical counselor with her own part-time practice. She received a B.A. in English from Bob Jones in 1963, and an M.A. in counseling from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies in 1991.

The Efaws have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. All of the children attended and/or graduated from a Christian college, and are serving the Lord in either full time vocational Christian service or as laymen in fundamental local churches.

Don Hall has been at Beth Eden since 1997. He holds a B.A. in Music Education from Bob Jones University, and an M.M. in Choral Conducting from the Pennsylvania State University.

Pastor Don is responsible for the Adult Choir, Gloria!, and supervises the music ministry in the church and school. He also has a number of other responsibilities including coaching the Beth Eden Baptist School soccer team, teaching and preaching.

Don and his wife Teri, a piano teacher, are the parents of Abigail and Jordan. Before coming to Beth Eden he served as a music teacher at Centre County Christian Academy in Bellefonte, PA, and assistant pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Centre Hall, PA.

Kraig Keck joined the staff in August 2002 as assistant pastor in charge of outreach and discipleship. Before coming to Beth Eden, he was employed at the Christian publishing ministry, Positive Action for Christ, Rocky Mount, NC.

Pastor Kraig and his wife, Laura, are the parents of Justin, Jessica, Riley and Kaylee. He has a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Northland Baptist Bible College, Dunbar, WI, and the M.Div. degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, Lancaster, PA

Jason has attended the Beth Eden Baptist Church since he was a young child. He graduated from the Beth Eden Baptist School and is a 2000 graduate of Bob Jones University with a degree in Bible and a minor in Christian counseling.

Prior to joining the staff at Beth Eden, Jason served as youth pastor at the Grace Baptist Church of Farmington, NM, for three years. He began his ministry at Beth Eden in August 2002 and is responsible for the youth ministry along with various other responsibilities.

Pastor Jason met his wife, Bethany, while they were students at Beth Eden. They were married at Beth Eden in December 1999.

Mr. Francis was raised in a Christian home and had the privilege of attending and graduating from Calvary Baptist School in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990 and from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. He has a passion to serve the Lord and help young people prepare for life and service to the Lord.

Mrs. Francis has taught in a Christian school for the past several years. The Lord has blessed them with two children: Adam (age 10) and Amanda (age 7).
